Is it okay to announce the pot (every betting phase) in cash games? I tend to practice it cause some players keep asking for pot size.

No limit? No. They keep track on their own or the dealer can spread the pot so they can get the count on their own.

Pot limit? They can ask you for a count and you should be keeping track in your head for proper bet sizing. Announce it then? Maybe (I don't know the proper PL procedure but...) it's a good idea to verbalize it to keep the betting a little quicker.
