Decided to go with one without a racetrack this time. 10 Seat Oval.

Went with "premium vinyl" great feel but SO hard to work with.

Made the legs custom, can't see it but I cut dados in the 4x4's to make it sturdier than a face joint. Also you can see the laminate I put on the outside and under the rail cushion. Used the iron on kind, first time working with it.

Since there are no cupholders up top and we're a drinking crowd I made drawers for them!

Please post more images of the drawer and how it was constructed. I love those types of slide out drawers.

Good luck, nutn

Cool cloth.  Is that Picotex?

Nut'n I'll get some more pics of the working bits tonight! Pretty cool it took some tinkering but I was able to make them out of my Daughter's old bed rails! Just had to get drawer slides and a pull.

Dr. Neau, not sure what Picotex is, I got it from www.buildyourownpokertables.com and can be found here:

Thanks, the rail vinyl is also from Build Your Own Poker Table.com and is the premium rogue vinyl, color is Buckskin. It's REAL smooth to the touch and is thicker than the whisper vinyl I built my last table with.

I have a few folds on the bottom that I don't like and I'm sure had I spent a little more time with it I'd have made it look better but honestly no one noticed. It's just harder to stretch.

Nutn, here are some pics of the cup holders. Pretty simple really.

Here's how I put the 12" drawer slides on the wood. I routed out the holes for the cupholders and used corner brackets to attach the sides to the bottom of the table. Hardest part is spacing them you have to put one rail side up, make sure your "drawer" slides okay then eye up the other side.

Here's a pic of all of them installed. I sat at each seat to see how the spacing is, my next game is this weekend so we'll see how it goes.

After all that and after playing about 8 games on it, I decided to change it. The cup holder drawers worked but weren't sturdy and the rails for them hung too low and had a chance of people's legs hitting them. Also didn't like the way the riser and rail went together.

So I went with what I know and added a racetrack.

I think maybe other rails would have worked better.
