An interesting video of the Vegas strip from a helicopter tour.  If you've been there recently, you probably saw a lot of construction going on (i was there april 07 while construction was going on for City Center, just north of monte carlo) But in this video it shows current hotels and construction sites, as well as artist renderings of the up and coming hotels/casinos like Echelon, The Plaza, City Center etc...

Enjoy, thanks for reading

Pretty cool.  I hardly recognize Vegas (last time we were there was in 2000.  Or was it 2001?  The mind, she's funny...)

I went to college in Vegas, and one of the coolest things i did there was take a helicopter tour of the strip.  It costs about $60 per person and is worth every penny.  There are several places, but I went to Maverick helicopters just south of Mandalay Bay.  The helicopter goes completely sideways around the stratosphere tower.

Here's a bad picture from the trip but you can get the idea.

college in Vegas??

sounds like a recipe for disaster.

anyhoo, i wanted to do that when i went. i was just to caught up in the awe of the city itself. i want to do a helicopter tour of manhattan. even though i live 10 miles away, the only view is from the ground and if u look up/around, you wont see much more than really tall buildings
