The technique I've been spreading (I can't remember where I got it from) is to give the top of the deck a light but firm tap with your finger.

Some of the would-be-scientists at my game have proposed that this works by removing the air between the top card and the rest of the deck.  Who knows? (who cares?).  Anyway, it does work.

I think I prefer the technique in Nutn's video, as it's a bit less overt.  Thanks, Nutn!

That's good stuff!!  But with a rotating deal (where's Gobbs?), everyone around the table won't keep up with this technique so I'll still reach for those cards that don't slide as much (DN, Fournier, Modiano & NTP).

wow. thank you. i've played for a long time and never even thought about that. every time i put cards my bed they slid around and i thought nothing of it. This fixes that problem. thanks for the sticky on these too
