I used Red Velveteen for my table and it's nice stuff. Mine looks darker in real life than this does in their pic. FWIW, Velveteen is one of the more popular materials to use on a table.
Most cloth stores carry this material. You could go look at if first if you're not sure.

You should be able to get the velvateen at Jo-Annes, if you have one near you. I think I have a coupon I can emali if yo udo decide to go there.  Let me know

I hav used the poker n' stuff velveteen in this color and it looks and plays very good.  It is smooth for the cards to slide, and it feels nice too.  It is better than other velveteens that have a low quality felt back to them.  This has a nice ribbed cloth back to it.
