Here is a thread at the 2+2 forums where you can possibly find a replacement for that single card that is missing from your deck of plastic playing cards. 2+2 Card Replacement Thread

In addition, you can usually order a replacement card either through the retailer where you purchased your deck, or from the manufacturer of the card. Kem replacements are available directly from Kem.

Good luck, nutn

Good prices on the COPAG decks when you buy direct.  I bought mine for a couple of bucks more, and with the deal they have on shipping right now, I could have saved extra AND gotten that replacement card voucher.  I wonder what it would be like to play with black cards, as in the COPAG signature series... anyone tried something like that?

I just had a cut copag card from my 2 week old deck of cards. I called the number and they are sending me a replacement for FREE. they said if there is only one or two damaged cards they usually do not charge for the replacements.

Just thought you all would like to know

Direct?  I don't think Copag sells their products in direct retail in the U.S.  Though they are very good about replacing any deficiencies that are found.

Last time I heard, they required a 10 box order (120 sets) to ship directly from Brazil.  Are you thinking of a US resource that sells Copag cards in the retail channel?

I'm sorry, I was kind of fishing for that response, I suspected that's what the previous poster was referencing.

Copagcards.com, Kemplasticcards.com, Paulsonpokerchip.com, and eBay seller name "pokersuppliesco" are all the same company, a retailer out of Indiana who sells on the web, eBay, and advertises in several magazines including Cardplayer (handed out gratis in many cardrooms/casinos.)  They do not hold an exclusive franchise to distributing Copag cards in North America, nor are they the North American representative for Copag.  As a matter of fact, Copag has a number of distributors throughout the U.S.

You can order KEM replacements here: www.kemplasticcards.com/replacemet_cards.htm
$1 per card for their customers and $3 per card for non-customers

Good luck, nutn

I tried to get one of my KEMs replaced with this method, but they said they didn't have any.  I tried the seller too, but they said they did not get any replacements from KEM.  It suks that I have a deck that was only used 5 times and can't get a replacement.  When I bought COPAG to replace, I liked the feel better.  KEM is overrated, don't buy them.

Basically, buy COPAG, they will replace your cards.

I actually saw a guy on eBay selling sample sets of cards...  one card from each of several different manufacturers...  KEM, Copag, and Gemaco for sure...

Maybe you can sell 10 lots of five sample KEM's and recoup some of your money...  Wink

Hi Guys, You might be interested to hear of the really great service I have recieved from Copag.  I bought a deck of EPOC cards and found that one was damaged in manufacture.  I send them an email with a picture of the damaged card.  They not only replaced the damaged card but sent me to new decks of my chioce by courier, no questions asked.  For my money that is the best service I have ever received from a surplier.  I would recommend Copag every time from now on.

As I said in another thread I just bought a set of Modiano Bike Trophy cards. I love them. So much so that I have been messing with them quite a bit while at the computer. I couldn't wait to use them for my usual monthly game.
As I was shuffling them at the computer, I dropped a couple and rolled my chair back to across the carpet to retrieve them... I did not see the 4 of spades go under the wheels of the chair... OUCH!
The poor card looked like a rose when it came out from under the dual wheels on my chair. I spent a while trying to get it back to normal. And to Modiano's credit, I was able to get it 99% better and certainly usable. But it troubled me to have it less than perfect.
So I wrote Caragails and took a shot on the odd chance that they might do a replacement... I really did not expect them to.
Imagine my surprise when they wrote back and said they would indeed replace it. I had told them that it was my fault and not a problem with the deck. They charged one dollar to cover the card and the shipping. Today I received the card and my deck is perfect and complete again.
I am not sure that Caragails will replace cards for folks who don't buy their cards at their store, but they will definately replace for customers. But I suspect they would for anyone.
So Caragails looks to be a Modiano replacement source. Probably a Dal Negro source as well, since they just started carrying DNs too.

I don’t know about that, but I do know Caragails is a first rate vendor.  They definitely will stand behind anything they sell.

I just received a pair of the EPOC setups as an incentive for signing up to an online poker room through an affiliate.  They rock.  I love them, I shuffle them out of habit when I play online now.

I like Caragails also, they will replace cards for free if purchased from them. There shipping is also very reasonable $2.00 for orders from $10.00 -50.00 , so 2 decks cost $1.00 each shipping. I see a lot of other places charge 3-4 for shipping. No I don't work or shill for them.

I have some Kem cards that has a replacement card chart. It is a chart that has a four rows of suit going down and a card next to the suits. You circle the card you need and pay however much it costs and mail it in.

I have a bit of a dilemma.  I ordered a set of red/blue mehndi KEM cards from caragails and some cards from the blue deck were defective.  I had it sent out (to KEM) to get a replacement and they ended up sending me a brand new IMPRESSIONS deck.  Granted I have a new deck of cards, it doesn't match with the red MEHNDI deck.  I am grateful that they sent me a brand spankin new deck (I haven't even opened it yet) but I was wondering if I should just use it, or let them  know that they sent me the wrong style cards?

As a matter of interest, did you send the cards to Kem for replacement and, if so, how long did they take to respond?

I sent back some cards from a Red/Blue Arrow setup which had marks.  That was on 22-Jun and I haven't heard back from them yet.

Anybody else know how long it takes them to respond?

BTW: the cards were sent from the UK.

Thanks - that was the figure also given to me by Jeff from CaraGail's.

I guess I'll have to be a bit more patient.   Undecided

I guess it took about a week.  I had them sent out almost immediately when I got them, but I was in vegas for vacation and when I got back it was stuffed in my mailbox, so I couldn't really tell you how soon it got back to me.

Well, I was just wondering if I should contact KEM and have the correct deck sent out to me, but I don't really want to complain as I have a new deck that I didn't even pay for (not even the dollar).

If this sounds hypercritical, it's not meant to be; but are you asking a morals question, or a "which setup is better" question?  I don't see where the former is any of our business (you're the one who has to live with your own morality or lack thereof, as the case may be); and only you can decide which setup is better for you.

I recently got a crack in one of the aces of my over 20 year old Fournier deck... They don't even have that deck on their homepage so I guess I'll be looking for a new deck (or setup more likely) instead...

(I bought this deck in the end of the 80's to use when learning card magic, it was expensive for me back then so I have been very careful with it. I think it's a good idea to always buy two setups to have spare cards in case of damage, even if the manufacturer have a replacement program.)

Check with Trident or Cara Gails.  They might hold back a few for replacement, or maybe they can contact the manufacturer

Hi,

I am the director of sales for all of those companies and a few other as well.  What was said above is certainly true and I don't think that we try to mislead anyone.  We are one of several US distributors of those brand cards.

If you buy Modianos from Modianocards.com (aka Brybelly holdings - see post above) they include a card replacement form.  It costs $1 per card to be replaced plus you must include a SAE.

They may do it if you bought the cards elsewhere - check with them (see post above).

My Bicycle Prestige issue is being dealt with directly with USPC, on Jeff's (Cara Gail's)recommend.  Cards were sent last week to the address provided, and I will update when appropriate.  I have no doubt that Jeff will make good if USPC does not come through.  Excellent communication and service on all previous orders.

i recently opened a set up of kem (pre - USPC) casino club cards, green & brown decks, to find the green deck with 2 king of diamonds in deck....jack of diamonds missing; the brown deck is fine, no problems. they were still cello wrapped, but my question is ....can i get a jack of diamonds to complete the deck ? ............................... a few years back, i had purchased kem (pre - USPC) circle back set up, green & brown, and upon opening, over a year later, found the 10 of diamonds of the green deck with an ink void on the circle back. at this time, kem already announced of closed doors, & ordered a replacement from kemplasticcards.com. upon receiving, perfect design match, however, very slightly darker ink tone on back (my wife doesn't see it, but i do) and red not as brilliant on face, slightly darker. ............................................  i am worried i am going to have the same problem again with this casino club set up, & desparately trying to avoid that problem. any suggestions would help.  i have already heard a thousand times from my wife how it's my fault for waiting so long to open these decks, but forgot i even had them.  circle backs dated 2002 where as the casino club back dated 2001. is it possible newer USPC kems with the same design backs will match? or are these decks just trash..........i will post pics if none of this makes sense and/or try to explain myself better, but i'm bummed about the whole situation, 2 brand new decks useless!!!!!!......for right now anyways.

I have sent multiple emails though Caragails website directly and I have yet to get a response regarding replacement Modiano cards for decks I purchased from them last year.

Can anyone else help me with replacement cards?  I purchased the 4 deck Cistallo setup and now currently have 3 of the 4 decks unusable.

Thank you.
