I'd say it needs a little graphics work - even just a classy looking logo at the top left with nicer text for the main Homegame supply text. I notice that's an image - that could easily be changed. Otherwise - good luck! hope things take off for ya!

Thanks! Ya, I know it's plain, but that's the way I want it... I might work on a logo though... As far as "taking off"... It took off months ago, I have been open for around a year and have had 100's of customers... Thanks in large part to this site Thanks Nut'N! Thanks for the input and sentiment, Gary

Your store looks pretty good. What ecommerce program are you using? OScommerce?
Can I check the s/h cost before deciding on opening an account?
I operate a couple online stores and wondering why you require M/F and date of birth. It is not required for credit card processing. Are you selling personal data of your customers?
This data requirement prevented me from placing an order.

No I do not sell, give away or communicate any personal information of anyone to anyone... It's just the way the program was set up and I have had no need to change it. If putting your DOB or sex online is that much of a deterent, then you might not want to shop online...LOL I do not accept, store or ask for any credit info at any time, I use PayPal for all processing and payments... So, if you want to create an account with false info such as sex and DOB, by all means do... there is no need for any info other than name and address to ship... and if that is not comfortable then customers can email me and request that I take that info over the phone... There are many options! Unfortunately right now you need to create an account and place an order to see the shipping costs... you do not need to input any payments or credit info prior... only once you finalize and are directed to paypal for payment are the orders processed. I will be adding the shipping costs without accounts option in the future. For now, I don't really see a need to accept cards or change any features on the site as I have had hundreds of safe and satisfied customers... If you have any questions, please email me at admin@homegamesupply.com and I will help you any way I can. Thanks, Gary

Hello everyone!
I am sorry to say... Come Feb. 15th, all Paulson Chips will be increasing approximately 5%. This is a manufacturer decision and out of my hands... If you were looking to grab some of these beautiful chips, now is the time!

Is this typical for the industry? I thought prices for all chips were pretty much stable or going down.

How does this fit into the "Personal Websites" category?
It is his own personal website and I allow him, and others, to update their own threads every month or two. Good luck, nutn

Thanks Nutn' As far as the 2010 issue, it is a database glitche... I had deleted all those dates, yet they keep appearing later!?!?!?!?!? As far as the increase... My supplier (the same one as most online shops) is increasing their prices, supposedly an increase from the manufacturer... We'll see how it really affects prices. As far as the others... no need to ridicule... This is my personal site, not a large business. I do this part-time from my home just so that people can get deals on homegame items. I have been doing this for about a year and have had many satisfied "customers"... I beat pretty much anyone's prices because I don't do this for a living... I don't need to pay anyone and I don't pay my bills from this. I have a real job that keeps my family fed! If there is an issue with the site, point it out... no need for the barrage...LOL!!! Man, I can barely get an answer to questions about my site and all of a sudden I am attacked in one day!... everyone bored?

Along with rebuilding the site... IT'S OUR BIRTHDAY!!! To honor 1 full year in business and all our awesome customers, we are holding a sale and allowing the HPT discount to be used as well, giving you essentially 15% off the stores already low prices! Again, pricematching is always an option if somehow you find a lower price. (HPT discounts do not work with pricematching) The 10% off will carry through, at least, until April 1st. We may keep it going! Thanks for trusting in HGS for your all homegame needs! Gary

I am very sorry for this and am working as fast as possible to get my site to reflect these OOS's... Hopefully they can straighten these issues out soon as I HATE to have to tell you guys that what you need is not available, especially if it is listed as available on my site. Thanks for hanging in there Gary

The 5% discount is always active for HPT members! The additional discount was limited for that anniversary. Especially now with the way money is... I have just received the new NEXGENS too... I have yet to receive a sample, but they look pretty cool. Check them out! http://homegamesupply.com/store/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=10-6000

Those looks like the injected molded Dunes commemorative chips. Are they essentially the same (with a different "mold")? Are these slugged like the previous versions of NexGens?

Right now, I kow as much as you... I have no information on these other than what is printed on the site, which isn't much. I am assuming they are slugged... They do seem to be like the dunes chip... I have samples of those and they are very nice.

I am sorry I haven't been active for quite a while, but I do visit and lurk a bit here and there... Thanks to all who have order from me and I hope we continue to help you all out...
I am in the process of dropping ALL prices and expect to be finished in time for your XMas orders... If you see something you want/need, let me know and I will get you the lowest price online.
I do continue to match all legitimate sites prices!
Thanks for the support and hopefully I can find the time to rejoin the discussions this awesome site!
Happy Holidays, Gary
