Ask a police officer in the area where you will be holding your game. Do not call 911 emergency, instead use a general information phone number. Call from a pay phone and wear a disguise if you are paranoid.

Update: December 2010
I have relaxed my policy about discussing the legalities of playing poker on this website. I will now allow some discussion but I still encourage everyone to telephone their local police department.
