Working on a T50,000 tournament.  Toying with including an add-on and a rebuy, but I'm not very good with when/how to implement.  Standard WSOP blind schedule.  Figuring on 25 levels.

Buy-in is $60.  Would a $30 re-buy of 50k before level 13 work?  $30 Add-on of 25k before level 13?  Let me know what you think.

how long are the levels?   unlimited re-buy?  those are factors you have to consider...i usually do a one re-bouy or add-on  and always make the cut-off at the first break or the 2 hour mark

We typically do this:

Starting stack of X.
Optional add-on of about 2/5ths of X.  Available through the end of the first break (usually 60-90 minutes in).
Rebuy (usually unlimited) available unless it's an elimination that results in the remaining people getting paid.  Rebuy cost and chips are identical to the original buy-in.

I've found that at least for our tournaments, nobody goes nuts with the rebuy.  Nobody rebuys when you're getting a stack of less than 10 big blinds.

Levels are 25 min.  Just one rebuy.  This is going to be a 2 night tournament.  Levels 1-12 first night (ending with cutoff on rebuys and addons), Levels 13-25 the following week.

Agreed.  I was going to do a full stack at half price with a cutoff of level 12 (2500/5000).  50k for $30 and you would have greater than 10BB unless you had to rebuy at the end of the night.

I'm doubtful anyone would use the rebuy unless to huge hands got into it.  Add on of 20k for $20?
