Canada has plastic polymer money now, been out since November, in case you haven't heard about it. more durable and longer lifespans than paper money, and almost impossible to counterfeit.

So far only available as $100 bills. It is very thin compared to paper. and obviously feels very different. After all our lives feeling paper money, it feels weird holding a stack of new hundreds, like they are counterfeit lol.

They fold differently than paper . . . no creasing unless you really try hard.  Very difficult to separate when new . . . Fifties come out in another month, iirc.
