Casino cash game (or online)

This probably falls into the category of poker strategy discussions, but it's something that happens in a cash game a lot so I'm looking for your opinions.  Playing $3-$5 no limit.  Three stacks involved all have around $600.  Your on the button with Q-10 off and it gets to you with two callers.  Let's assume you also limp and it's the three of you to the flop.  Flop is three small cards with straight draw and flush draw.  It gets checked to you and you also check.  Obviously you could try to take a stab at it, but let's just say this time you just check.  The turn is a 10.  First to act bets $40 and the next guy calls.  This is your first hand at the table and you don't have any info on either player.  What would you say your percentages are of you raising, calling or folding in this situation?

I would start off by either raising or folding pre-flop.

Let's say that you called a small raise with that hand and it played out as mentioned. What would you normally do?

Well, that's a totally different question. But if you're going to play QT off from the button why would you fold after hitting top pair on the Turn?

i'd say the one who bet out likely is semi-bluffing with a flush or maybe caught their flush or possibly is holding Ace &Ten. sure you have position, but not a very strong kicker and if the chasers catch, you're done. easy fold for me 100%.

Yup.  I'd prolly put one guy on the flush draw and the other on tens up or KT,AT.  Folding is correct.  But knowing what is correct and actually doing what is correct can be two different things...for me anyway (as I play like a fish at times).

In this situation a call is in order. The river card say finished his flush, now if the player wants to trap, and check, you get to check along for free, but even if he bets,, a call from me he would get, just to find out what, and how he plays. If not too exspensive, this tactic can gain you two things. 1) Players get to see you will call with a med hand, and 2) You gain info on the other player, did he bet that flush on the river, did he check it, hoping you would bet it, was he bluffing etc. One hand is not out of the question to let the other players know, you will not just lay down in the corner at a bet. You gain even if you have second best cards, know what I mean!! Keep in mind, that if at a casino, you will be able to gain even more info, how is the player looking to you, is he nervous, does he look uneasy etc. Very first hand, and you did have a pair, and you let the other players know, you like to see a hand play out! Set an image, but just an image of course!
