How do you deal with streaks of bad luck?

I use to be be a pretty good poker player, but lately it seems like my game has regressed. Or maybe not I am getting extremely unlikely for about 7 months now and I don't win as much as I use to. I am playing nervous and hesitant....any tips of how to break out of this slump?

i'd strongly recommend going back through and reexamining the hands that you've played after your sessions (if you're playing online, this will obviously be easy) and look through the hands with a critical eye.  Also, if you're unsure about yourself and feel off kilter, taking a week or so break and coming back with a fresh mind and hopefully fresh attitude about the game could do you good.  One bad habit developing (which can very well happen if you're feeling nervous or hesitant during your decision-making), left unchecked, can turn into a big leak or worse.  So reassessing your play and taking a breather could be very helpful, imo.

I went through a very long losing streak in my tourney play. It seemed like I couldn't make a right decision. Well, then I started altering my play, and losing even more. I let my losing streak get the best of me, and started making bad decisions.

I decided that I almost needed to start over. I want back to the basics of Poker. I really emphasized Position, hand values, pot odds, position, ect.......

It still took me some time to cash in a tourney, but I was definitly improving my game.

How are you defining "bad luck"? It sounds like you want strategy advice.

I would be glad to offer strategy advice. I would need more information.

Position, stack sized, Blind sizes, tourney, cash, ect......

For just standard strategy, most of the hands you listed are crap. 8's and 9's are the only "made" hands that you posted.

If your struggling with A/k ect..... maybe you should focus on playing them only in position until you get more comfortable with them.

take a short break, study, discuss hands with friends and review hands you have played recently to see if you lost more than you should of or did not extract maximum value.
