Size of folding table legs

Hello

I am about to start making my own table, and I was wondering what size on the legs you would recommend.
My table is going to be 4 feet x 8 feet. Does the ones at Home Depot do the job?

You need two people to determine what size legs you need.

Sit a player down on one of your chairs, and have him/her hold their arms in a comfortable playing position.

Measure from the wrist to the ground, and deduct the height of the table top. That's how high the legs will have to be.

The height is ok, what I was wondering about is how wide they have to be to make the table stable?

the "footprint" for the home depot legs is 24". They are very inexpensive and reasonably sturdy for an 8 foot table.
Google "folding banquet legs" and you will find the ones in the $40 to  $50 are far superior.
