This article (http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2011/06/miami_herald_runs_macys_ad_con.php) suggests Mark Cuban may have taken out the ad. Not sure how credible that is but considering that a Heat victory last night would have only produced a Game 7 and not a title one has to wonder if it actually is a prank of some sort.

Funnies line of the article: "Thanks, Miami Herald. You are the fourth-quarter LeBron James of local sports coverage..."

I hadn't seen that but if Cuban took out that ad - that is hiliarious...on another note....

I don't see Cuban doing that.  Putting up a fake ad with Macy's name attached would seem to be a good way to get sued.  Not that he can't afford it, but it just doesn't seem like something he would do.

There were corrections posted in the article. The Herald admitted it was just a production error.

( p.s. - I never thought I'd cheer for the Mavericks. )
