What a way to make the money- some other dudes bad beat

Tourney, down to final 5 of us- pays top 4....

I am on small blind, call the big blind who moves all in preflop.  I am holding 10-8 suited, running low on chips and blinds just eating us up so I call.  I have him covered by $100 in chips, he ends up winning the hand so I am down to $100 left.  Very next hand I just put it in blind, chip leader puts in huge raise, the dude that just beat me in the hand re-raises and chip leader puts him all in.  Dude that beat me insta-shoves with pocket Aces.  Chip leader has Q-J suited hearts and turns the flush knocking out the pocket Aces (mind you I haven't even looked at my cards yet but there is the side pot sitting there between me and chip leader).  I flip my cards one at a time, 8 of hearts and King of hearts giving me a bigger flush to win the side pot and in essence back door my way into the money. 

Everyone at table was stunned, especially the dude with the pocket Aces who had to be thinking he was on easy street to win the thing and instead ended up on the bubble....

If you're running low on chips and it's been folded around to you then it's better to shove than to limp/call unless you're trying to trap with a premium hand.

I was thinking the same thing.  I don't understand limping and calling there at all, but whatever.
I do feel bad for the aces guy though.  I mean, that's just so brutal.
