Easter itself is pagan with Rabbits and eggs and whatnot. Passover is the religious holiday celebrating the Jews exodus from Egypt. Christian Easter used to be called Paschal but just like Christmas, I'm guessing Christians or Pagans started combining the traditions of the two to make it more socially acceptable to the other group.
