$10 Silver Strike Tokens

Dear Friends:

About 5 years ago I started collecting anything from the old Binions Horseshoe Casino. That included the $10 Silver Strike Tokens. I'm pretty sure that they weren't used in the slot machines but used as souveniers for the public.

They are very nicely minted silver tokens with gold trim. Binion's made a set of 8 different patterns that were easily found on E-Bay.

I have also collected silver as an investment vehicle. In the past 6 months, silver is up over 90% in value !
Guess what: these tokens weigh in at over 1.2 oz (with 0.6 oz of silver) and Binion's isn't the only casino that had these puppies.

Now this is where it gets really interesting. Right now on eBay, you can find these tokens for $19.95 and LESS!!

Do not spread the word too quickly, but if silver spot is now over $46, these suckers are worth more than $30 each...

Man I miss collecting poker-related stuff.  One day I'll have to sell my collection, but I went cold turkey the day after I re-enrolled in college.  That's a beautiful strike, though I'm not going to the eBay site to get tempted.

If they are worth $50 each, why then you hesitate to buy them all for $20-$26 right now on Ebay. Anyway, they look delicious.

I already own 10 or so plus a large number of 1 oz Silver Eagles.

If I find that I can buy them for around $25, I will. In the meantime, I am more than happy to share the bonanza with my poker friends.
