Back home and running my league again

Many of you here know me from a while back and many of you newer members don't.  I haven't been around much the last while and missed a large section of my league tournaments this winter.  In October last year I was diagnosed with cancer.  I had to undergo a major surgery Nov 5th that lasted almost 6 hours.  A 4cm tumor was removed, as well as my parotid gland (saliva gland), a large section of skin on my neck and 43 lymph nodes.  The surgery went well and I recovered at home for 5 weeks before beginning 7 weeks of radiation treatments, 33 in total.   I've been home for about 4 weeks now and am feeling better each week.  Energy levels are still not there but I know they're going to take a while to return to 'normal'.  Follow up CT and results are in a couple weeks but  I just wanted to say it's nice to be back and playing poker once again.  Cheers!

Glad to here that things are going well for you. I too have recovered from cancer. I was diagnosed at the age of 28 some 16 years ago. 2 major ops and 7 months of chemo later and i have had no problems since. I understand though the situation you have gone through completely and wish you well with your continued recovery.

Thanks guys....it honestly just feels great to be home again.  Hopefully I'll be able to sit at one of those home games on PS and play against you guys.  It's been a long time since I played in an HPT tourney on PS.  Where's Wedge hiding these days? lol
