Sad News from my Beautiful little country

I run a small league from home and we are holding our latest seasons main event this sunday. http://www.pnptour.webs.com/
The winners were due to attend one of New Zealands largest poker weeks in April in Christchurch.
This week this beautiful city was hit by its second major earthquake in the last 6 months. The city is devastated with the death toll at 103 and will continue to rise.  I have a number of friends down there and most are just absolutely terrified and shellshocked. One is still missing his step sister. Our whole country is feeling this and is thankful for all the help that we are recieving from around the world so if you are from one of those countries then my thanks to you as well. We will continue to hold our main event but will wait and see whether the NZ Poker Champs week goes ahead but will send our players away however this does not seem that important just at the moment.

I've had the pleasure of meeting a couple of Kiwis in my life.  Tough S.O.B.s, but also two of the nicest guys I've ever met.  I have no doubt you will heal and persevere.  My thoughts are with you.
