I just got two decks from CaraGails. There was a special.

FOURNIER PARTY POKER 100% PLASTIC SET  (2 Decks)
ON_SALE $9.95

My first impression is I like them. I will post further comments after next Wednesdays poker night.
The funny faces will be big tells for the first few hands.  Cheesy

They're okay, and if you search a little you can find them for about half what you (over)paid . . .

If you have a list of your favorite sellers, I would love to see it.
Maybe that should be a stickey for this card forum.

Other deals...
I didn't find them that inexpensive, when shipping was included. But I only spent 15 mins on the net searching.

But great service has a cost. CaraGails has $2 dollar shipping charge, fast shipping, unconditional replacement in case of defective products. Some of the unknown ebay sellers ... who knows. I have mostly dealt with CaraGails. And I am very happy with the price/service.

$9.95 for two decks isn't a bad price. And you can't beat good service, and CaraGails has plenty of that Smiley.

I quite like these cards. Both as novelty cards and as playing cards. I'm just hooked on bridge size cards, and unfortunately these only come in wide size.

Cara Gails is a great seller and it is very difficult to beat heir prices.  What wood was referring to was the fact that these cards have been selling at closout prices on ebay real cheap ... but if I am not mistaken that source has dried up and prices there have gone up considerably!

I love Cara Gails as well, folks.  But I got these cards months ago for approx. $3-4.00 per deck (cannot quite remember).

Darn,
I searched for 45 mins and can't find a better deal (no pun intended) than I got. But, I must have been late to the party.

Next time you get a super deal on cards, please post it before that Northern Air takes a toll on your memory.  Grin

I've sold these cards on ebay before and I still have around 15 decks.  I had an auction on the last 15 for $30 (thats $2 a deck) on ebay and they didn't sell.

If you want to sell 8 decks they will  fit in the $5.20 priority mail box. I will send you $20. Let me know... I am willing to dicker.

Well the cards were a hit at Wed poker night. That is the guys that tend to hate plastic cards didn't say anything. We have been going through a deck of paper Bicycles allmost every week. When new and clean they are a fine card. I will keep one of the Party Poker Greenbacks in rotation and see how many Bicycle decks it outlives. We buy Bicycles at BJs discount for about a buck a deck in bulk.

Yes we eat and drink at the table... lots of fatty, spicy and salty stuff. Like stuffed quahogs, meatballs, bacon wrapped venison, shrimp, scallops, smoked bluefish and deviled eggs. And for drinks, Dark and Stormies , rum and coke, Jack D, Baileys Irish and beer. So our hands can be sticky and greasy.
Then we go home for dinner and tell the wives we didn't spoil our appetites. Grin

But those could've been plastic coated. And buying 288 decks seems a bit over the top to get a deal of $1 per deck. I'd much rather buy two decks for $10 than 288 for $288, unless I'm pretty sure I can unload most of these decks for at least twice or thrice the price.
