Looking for some opinions on the topic above, I had this decision last night, and I was wondering if I am thinking it through correctly....

11 player game, 12k in chips for £10 (about $15). One add on or re-buy, to be taken any time in the first hour. After one hour of play there is the first break, and blinds will become 100/200 after the break.

Is there a tipping point of a certain number of your opponents that have added on that determines that I should also add on, regardless of my stack size? Should I always add on, regardless of other add ons and stack sizes?

I'm interested in someone else's thoughts on this, mine personally at the moment are:

Too many factors to consider. I'd say "it depends."

Martini is right, but just a few suggestions to bring up:
I would never add-on as the chip leader with any decent lead over the field.
I would probably never add on with a sufficient stack (upwards of 75bb).
I definitely would not just add on regardless of what everyone else has....my decision has a lot to do with opponents stack sizes, my own, blinds, etc.
