3 straight $5.50 NLHE 6-Max SNG on poker* - I get to heads up - as a big chip leader - 3 straight times....and please understand this is just me getting it off my chest - I know it happens but WTH??
1st game had around a 7500 - 1500 chip lead
2nd game had around a 7700 - 1300 chip lead
3rd game had around a 8100-900 chip lead
and lost all three games - was a combination of getting drawn out on or just going card dead ..... seems the math would not back that up - thing was only a couple times in the games did I get all in when I was behind ... I would call an all in with A10 - to be against AJ or something similar - one time flopped a set (44) with a board of 496 to lose to pocket 6s.....igot drawn out on at least 8 times heads up ..... t was un-flippin' real -

I flipping quit - make it 4 in a row - 6800 to 2200 when heads up - lost with AK vs A2 - I raised from button - he RR - I shoved - he called - I lost that hand...then about 8 hands later - I raise from BB with QQ - he RR me all in I called - he showed 88 - a hand he should call with obviously - and sure nuff an 8 right in the window....I couldn't make this up if I tried cause I ain't that creative....I AM DONE for awhile

I would be more proud of the fact that I got heads up in 4 straight sngs.  That, itself, is a statistical unlikelihood.  I know bad beats suck, but you also defied odds just making it to the money in this many tournaments.

This. Give it a little bit of time, it will even out. I tried playing 150 of these in a week or so once...and even with that many I had streaks of losing 5/6 in a row HU. Not much you can do, but it will even out eventually.

I've lost four head up SNGs (or more) in a row plenty, so I can't see how having four second place finishes in 6 handed SNGs can possibly be cause for frustration.  Honestly, this looks like cause to brag, not cause to complain.

Personally, I like cashing in four straight sngs (I mean, it doesn't happen much...)

I get that I should be happy with cashing in 4 straight SNGs and I am happy but I am to competitive I guess - I sort of feel like the buffalo bills.....I got there 4 times but finished second.....especially being chip leader big each time - that is what was frustrating.....had I been even, close, or even behind in chips I would have been content.....just frustrated that I had 4 straight pretty good chances to win and didn't do it even once.....

Heads up is very different to 3-handed. It just sounds like you need to improve your HU play.

I had similar experiences, started playing HU (play money for practice) and still lost... So I started reading on how to play HU, and it didn't take long before I won HU more often than I lost.
