WSOP 2011 will start on May 31st and run until July 19th.

Dates and buy-ins for individual tournaments will be announced in January.

I wouldn't mind if it actually did end July 19th and not some time in November. Their wording was awkward in the press release but it sounds like they are going to continue their final table shenanigans.

The part that I found most intriguing was the hard stops capping each day to ten levels of play. It will be interesting to see how that affects structure design, room requirements, player satisfaction, etc.

I'd assume that pretains to everything but the main event....as that has 2 hour levels...20 hours in a day is way too much.
