Interested to hear what everyone thinks about this one.

A little history ...

The CO has been short stacked for quite a while but hasn't been going mad. He's actually tried to limp into some pots. This is only his third shove in about 15 hands.

The chip leader (SB) hasn't been fooling around much. Nine hands ago he crippled me (to 85 in chips) when all the money went in pre-flop. I had  jack of hearts jack of spades which got slaughtered by his ace of diamonds jack of diamonds.

You built up your stack from 85 chips up to 1410 in nine hands?

Was wondering about this....but in any case....I really don't think you can fold A9 or any ace for that matter short-handed with less than 4bb.

With 85 chips he's gonna have everyone calling.. Get lucky on a hand w/ 5 callers and you're at 510.. Triple up once and you're over 1500... Certainly not out of the question..

Dude is definitely weird.. If it's a bot, it's a pretty good one..  If it's a person, it's a pretty bad one.. LOL

He can't even get five callers since they are already down to five handed. And it's not like everyone else is going to try to check it down to eliminate hero since he would only be the second man out. Yeah, it's possible to have lightning strike twice quickly but that is one heck of a turnaround. And if it did happen that way then he should know what other people are showing down and how his hand would play against them.

As it stands I would fold A9 after a shove *and* a call then wait for a better spot like shoving with ATC from the SB if it folds to me or shoving when being first to the pot instead of overcalling.
