Villain is relative unknown...but was playing fairly loose. I really thought he had 89....I was close. When he shoves the river I'm still thinking maybe he could have 89 here..as I saw him shove light a few hands earlier...and I didn't want to fold with how much was already in the pot.

That's a really tough beat.  I might favor checking and calling the river though (since villain will probably shove missed draws or hands like 98 that he can't call or raise with.)

Yeah it was just one of those nights. Either card dead or getting drawn out on with a big hand. There was just no in between. After about 200 hands i just turned it off. Just try and get motivated for tomorrow.
