Ral foam question

one rail foam is 1" X 54" X 108" and the other I was looking at is 1" X 54" X 105" and im building on 4x8 3/4 boards

IS the 105'' still enough to work with?? I dont want to come up short

You shoul only need 100 inches

If your building your table according to standard online plans, you will be using 2 pieces of 3/4" thick wood to build your rail assembly,

you will need extra foam to wrap on the outside edge of your rail which is 1.5" thick

if your rail assembly is 98" long and you add your wrap around allowance of 1.5" X 2 for both ends, you need to figure

96"  plus 1.5 X 2 = 99" 

you will have less wrinkles to contend with if you allow more foam to wrap completely around your outside edge and well under your rail assembly at least an 1 inch,

with this figured in.......... your optimum length of foam needed will be 101"
