Small blind limps I raise with  ace of diamonds ace of hearts flop comes  queen of hearts 3 of spades 8 of clubs

sb bets 200 I rasie to 500 he calls the turn 6 of spades

he checks I bet 800 he asks me if I have aces or kings and then calls. the river  3 of diamonds

he checks I bet 1200 he calls.  and says he has a full house only his  queen of clubs 3 of hearts is a  queen of clubs 5 of hearts

I turn over my  ace of hearts ace of diamonds only to find  ace of diamonds 4 of hearts

It's early in the tourney I was the early table leader I could afford the loss  Cheesy and we both start cracking up! Roll Eyes

It's at times like that you really wish that the cards WOULD speak... :-)

Why the .... did he just call if he thought he had Q3?  Dude really should have raised at some point in the hand.

The awful part is calling a PF raise early in a tourney with Q5, or Q3, either or.

It's bad, but is it any worse than just calling when you catch a miracle (or at least think you do)?  I mean, calling a raise with that is bad, but if when you make that call what are you hoping for if not a full house?

I would offer that rating the play is the wrong approach for this thread.  We need to start at a much more basic level...

Indeed.  If they don't know their cards, how can one expect them to keep up with the required NL stack o'buttons?
