logo on cloth ?

I'm on vacation and went to a tee shirt shop that air brushes tee shirts.  After talking to him he said he would airbrush a logo on a cloth. 

I was wondering if anyone ever air brush on velveteen before?  Did it work out OK? The reason I'm trying velveteen is because that is the only cloth I can find here without spending too much time looking for something better.  I'm in a tourist area not at home.

I'm thinking red velveteen, white bet line, white rectangle for the cards , and a name in yellow.

Dunno. If you have the time could you swing by the fabric shop and ask for a scrap piece then have the airbrusher do a quick sample so you can see how it looks and how it wears? If the price is crazy good then you might want to just go for it anyway. If it's pricey then I would just wait until you get home since I'd imagine you'd be able to find an airbrusher locally or if you really want a professional cloth then you can get a dye sublimation print job.
