table foam

Going to build a new table very soon. I was thinking of using 1/4 volara foam under the speed cloth. Any opinions on this foam?? and where is a good place to get it

For me, volara is a great option for centerfield foam.  Its firm, and its closed cell.  Some think its too firm, however.  It does give quick a bounce.  The last table I built, I put headliner over the volara just to cushion the bounce a bit.  Headliner on its own is way to thin, IMO.  YMMV.
