Had all three of these hands in the span of 2 heads up matches against the same opponent.  It was probably one of my worst days of poker ever--prior to these hands, I had gotten it all in in cash games four times as a big favorite (like 70% and better) and lost three of them.  Then, frustrated as hell, I decided to switch it up and play some heads up SnGs and see if my luck changed any.  Nope, and what rubs it in even worse are the hands he's calling me with!  Angry

Hand 1

First one's not technically a bad beat...more like a horrendous split:

Seat 1: (villain) (1,710)
Seat 2: bigblatch (1,290)
(villain) posts the small blind of 10
bigblatch posts the big blind of 20
The button is in seat #1
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to bigblatch [Tc Th]
(villain) raises to 60
bigblatch raises to 180
(villain) calls 120
*** FLOP *** [6h 9d Td]
bigblatch bets 225
(villain) calls 225
*** TURN *** [6h 9d Td] [7c]
bigblatch bets 500
(villain) calls 500
*** RIVER *** [6h 9d Td 7c] [8s]
bigblatch bets 385, and is all in
(villain) calls 385
*** SHOW DOWN ***
bigblatch shows [Tc Th] a straight, Ten high
(villain) shows [7d Kh] a straight, Ten high
bigblatch ties for the pot (1,290) with a straight, Ten high
(villain) ties for the pot (1,290) with a straight, Ten high
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 2,580 | Rake 0
Board: [6h 9d Td 7c 8s]
Seat 1: (villain) showed [7d Kh] and won (1,290) with a straight, Ten high
Seat 2: bigblatch (big blind) showed [Tc Th] and won (1,290) with a straight, Ten high

Hand 2

A little bit later in the same match.  He had been reraising me often and then showing down garbage.

Seat 1: (villain) (1,730)
Seat 2: bigblatch (1,270)
bigblatch posts the small blind of 10
(villain) posts the big blind of 20
The button is in seat #2
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to bigblatch [9h 9d]
bigblatch raises to 40
(villain) raises to 180
bigblatch raises to 1,270, and is all in
(villain) calls 1,090
bigblatch shows [9h 9d]
(villain) shows [td Kc]
*** FLOP *** [9s 5s Ts]
*** TURN *** [9s 5s Ts] [Jd]
*** RIVER *** [9s 5s Ts Jd] [Qs]
bigblatch shows three of a kind, Nines
(villain) shows a straight, King high
(villain) wins the pot (2,540) with a straight, King high
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 2,540 | Rake 0

Seat 2: bigblatch (small blind) showed [9h 9d] and lost with three of a kind, Nines

Hand 3

Well, you saw how I lost the first match.  Couldn't let it end like that so I rematched him...unfortunately in the 2nd match was was card dead and whittled away when this happened:

Seat 1: bigblatch (520)
Seat 2: (villain) (2,480)
(villain) posts the small blind of 15
bigblatch posts the big blind of 30
The button is in seat #2
*** HOLE CARDS ***

bigblatch shows two pair, Kings and Queens
(villain) shows a flush, King high
(villain) wins the pot (1,040) with a flush, King high
bigblatch stands up
(villain) stands up
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 1,040 | Rake 0

Seat 1: bigblatch (big blind) showed [Qs Ks] and lost with two pair, Kings and Queens
Seat 2: (villain) (small blind) showed [3d 7c] and won (1,040) with a flush, King high

Three flops with huge leads, three backdoor straights/flushes.  Story of my life.  Cry
