Hi Martini,
We didn't use them directly in the events this year but showcased them at the WSOP Poker-Palooza event.  However, we did run a few tournament at a few of the casinos such as The Golden Nugget.
Thanks for the reply...

Thanks for the clarification.  I hope you don't use the more misleading "debuted at WSOP" phrase in your advertisement.  I personally find it distasteful when a manufacturer plays with words like that.  But anyway, I'm going to check the link out.

Midnight Rose,

Rest assure there was no intentional attempt to mislead the readers and we apologize for the confusion.  Poker-Palooza is a sanctioned event of the WSOP and our agreement with them allowed us to use the phrase WSOP and/or WSOP Poker-Palooza over the summer.

We make every effort to be up front with all our patrons because that is what has put us on top of the competition and look forward to doing the same with HPT readers....

I hadn't heard of Poker-Palooza before so I looked it up (http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/poker-palooza/) and it sounds like a trade show? I can appreciate a vendor trying to spotlight their product in the most favorable way but the headline implies (to me at least) that the buttons were used at one of the events where an official WSOP bracelet is at stake and I find it misleading. Personally, I think it would be more accurate to say that the button debuted at the WSOP trade show instead.

We modified the title to help alleviate any further confusion.  We are actually a paid sponsor and vendor, we had billboards in the hallways to the event weeks prior to the Poker-Palooza event...  It would be the same as any other sponsor saying they were at the WSOP.  We just happened to be at the Poker-Palooza expo too.

Let's not get distracted with the small things and focus on a great product that is revolutionizing the game we love.  Once you see the ProDealer Buttons in action you will agree that it is the most advanced dealer button/timer available.

Good luck at the tables!!

Sounds good.  I looked at your page; I like the colors of the buttons.  I'd have to see one in person to see if it really could replace the Poker Genie, which is one of my poker Cold Dead Hands devices.

Looks like a cool button, but I do have a couple of questions/comments.

1.  How long to the batteries last in the device?

2.  In the picture of the button on your site, it has the BB on top and the SB on the bottom.  To me that is backwards, and leads to confusion.

Muley05,

The buttons take 4 AAA batteries and will usually last between 30-40 hours of continuous use depending on the type of battery.  We recommend buying one set of rechargeable batteries so that you can have them fresh as often as you need.

The Big Blind is displayed in the prominent position to allow players to quickly see what the minimum bet would be.  We have had numerous focus groups who favored the stacking order.  We appreciate your interest in the ProDealer Buttons and if you have any further questions, please contact us anytime!
