I'll be in Cincinnati Mon - Thursday next week and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on poker rooms or casinos in the area.  Not sure how much time I'll have, but would at least like to hit a few places to grab some souvenier chips.

Argosy is now Hollywood Casino.  Just opened new building (2x the size of the old Argosy), so it's brand new but still using same old chips except a Ltd Grand Opening $5

Needless to say, if you go there, I'd like you to pick up one of these for me, please.

My pleasure Rose.  What denoms do you want?  Do you want from all 3 places listed or just the old Argosy (now Hollywood)?

I have the 2nd issue Argosy ("Indiana Gaming") set of $5 and unders that I want; I'm just primarily interested in any new chips from there, especially the $5 GO LE jhickle mentioned.

Mailed the $5 GO yesterday so hopefully you get it soon.
Only played at the Hollwood (old Argosy) Monday night 7-11:30 at $1/3 No Limit Hold Em.  Bought it $200 left with $125.  Enjoyed my first time playing poker in a casino.
Place is nice and clean and the casino is very much like the ones in the strip at Vegas.
Had plenty of tables open.  I waited about 20 minutes because they were getting ready to start the evening tournament and didn't want to open a table just before half the field went to play in it.
I played poorly, basically just weak folding almost every hand preflop or post flop.
Now, bearing in mind that this is the first time a played in a non-home game, I'd say that some of the dealers were pretty weak.  There were a couple that needed help from the players dealing with button moves when players busted out.  Otherwise was nice.
Sorry... no I don't have pictures of the chips and didn't remember to see what brand of cards, etc. they are using.   Sad

Thanks for the chip, TL; definitely appreciated.  Now that you have a taste of the casino, you'll rock them in their socks next time.

I would be interested to see what brand of cards they have. The Argosy poker room used green/brown Gemacos.
