Worst rake!

Not sure if this is the correct section but would be interesting to find the worst rakes out there.

Memorial day I am planning to play in the $350 @ the Hard rock in Hollywood Florida.

I just noticed tonight they have a $50 satellite with 1 seat for every nine players.

that is a whopping 38.89 + 11.11

Difficult to find a rake worse than that!

Just so it's clear that we're talking about *casino* rakes (which is cool), and not *home game* rakes (which is not), I'll move this to the Brick & Mortar forum.

How the worst rake becomes the best.

Last night over at the $50 satellite. no $350 to buy into so they decide to play for a $150 tourney.... Who in their right mind would purchase a $50 ticket for a $150 tourney especially when they are raking it giving our only 1 seat for every 3.75 players.

The answer..... $146 entries 125 show up and no one paid the $50...

How they where giving away $50 in cash games  and an entry if you had Aces Cracked.....tickets where transferable and selling for $15 to $20 per ticket.

I paid $50 for an entry into a $75 tourney and the $50 Satellite.  $120 cash and $75 entry for high hand of the hour... sometimes it just pays to arrive early!
