Does it mean that Vegas is dead, likely to end up a neon ghost town?

Is the what happens in Vegas stays in vegas motto just to much for the poorer americans that can not even hold a job now.

I dont know, just wanting to see what is likely to happen.

Given that the amount they have spent on building these things, you would hate to see them close, so I imagine there will always be someone ready in the wings to pick up a cheap casino building hey.....

I think they face a bigger problem from running out of water than the economy. As for hotels, they are only owned by a few mega-corps. They could cut off an arm or leg to keep the overall body alive like what MGM-Mirage is doing. I think they sold off TI so that they can finish the City Center project. If demand is that low then they could sell off another, convert it to cheap condos or apartments, blow it up, etc.

Just saw that movie (actually I saw all three Resident Evil movies). Great fun once you've enjoyed playing one or more Resident Evil games. Milla Jovovich as Alice is rather easy on the eyes - and so too is Ali Larter as Claire.

Not likely. It may undergo some contraction. The gaming industry hasn't been as resilient this time as in other downturns but, when things pick up tourists will return.
