My dark red suited speed cloth and my plexiglass chip tray...let the building begin. I've been doing a lot of thinking as of late and decided that although I'm not a great person at building things from scratch, there is no better way to learn then to try and build something you really enjoy. So if anyone has some last minute tips on building a fullsize oval table with a dealer tray, it would be much appreciated. WISH ME LUCK

Figurelli, you will be fine.  The best advise I can give you is to pay attention to the directions, take your time and dont rush.  I do not have many skills in the department of building things myself, however, I just finished my first table and I think it looks great.  You can see it in this forum under First Build.  I did not put a chip holder in but it shouldnt be that hard I wouldnt think.  Measure several times and cut once.  Also, remember that the way you cut the wood is the way the pieces have to go back togehter.  Keep us posted and good luck.

Measure Twice Cut Once!

Think about what it's like sitting at a poker table with people whose only goal is to cut your throat, take your money, and leave you out back talking to yourself about what went wrong inside. If you don't believe me, then you're the lamb that's going off to the slaughter."
