Egyptian Scarab Chips and Egyptian Falcon Plaques

[Trident Cards]

Good morning HPT,

Well, they're here. Our Egyptian Scarab poker chips are now available at Trident Cards for $0.69 per chip. They look like this:

The text on the edges "flips" - one word is right-side up, one word is upside-down, etc. We will include an image of the edge on Trident Cards soon. On the right is the matching dealer button ($4.99 each).

We also made some plaques to go along with the chips. Each plaque is only $4.99. They look like this:

Nice, I'm looking forward to getting them into play on SAT. night. If my game is anything like its been of late (when I host) I won't be raking in the pots.

Just wanted to give a quick review of Tridents Egyptian chips.

Rose brought her brand spanking new cash chip (Egyptians obviously) to my house SAT. night. I was very impressed with the chips. We used the 1/4 (.25 chip), the $1, $5, and $20 chips.

My favorite chip of the bunch was the 1/4 chip (not the yellow, but because the quarter is designated by 1/4). I find that very unique.

These chips stack great for ceramics. The highest they were stacked was about 25, but they could have easily been stacked higher.

Appearance- As I stated. The colors are very vibrant. The chips are also very detailed, yet not to detailed that it makes them seem "busy".

Only 1 player commented that the $20 chip was to close in color to the $5 dollar chip. I have to disagree. I thought they worked very well together. The colors flowed beautifully from the .25 all the way to the $20 chip.

Feel- This was the first ceramic chip that I have handled that was textured, and I loved it. I couldn't stop massaging the face of the chip. Again, I loved the texture feel.

Sound-IMO this was the only thing I didn't like about the chip. However, it isn't anything different from any other Ceramic chip. They all sound about the same. I just prefer the sound of clays, but this is definitely a personal perferrence. I heard several members comment on how they loved the sound of the chips hitting the pot.

Nice job designing these chips. If I could sqeeze them into my budget I would probably get these for my 1/2 cash set.
