Copags...

So after reading everyone's cards comments... I decided on Copag's... Standard,  1546.  The colors... I'm leaning towards the Gold & Black over the Red & Blue.  My table felt is Red... so I think i'm going to go with the new black & Gold as I think it will just show nicer.  Any thoughts... suggestions... recommendations?

They're decent cards.  Not my favorite, but they're decent.  Definitely go with black/gold if your felt is red.

And Trident's customer service cannot be beat!

I bought two Copag sets from Trident a couple weeks ago.  Picked up Red/Blue and Green/Brandy (Wine), and some cut cards.  They got here alot faster than I was expecting.  They even put the sets in bubble wrap pouches, which showed that they cared if the cards (in plastic cases) were protected.

If we had a commercial rating thread, I'd definatly +1 Trident.

You getting bridge size, or standard width?  JI or SI?

I'd personally recommend (in the 1546 line) bridge, SI.  Some are not a fan of bridge, but I am.  Also, if you have low light or older players, JI might be better.

Thanks for all the feedback.  I would like the regular 2 1/2 width. I really want the SI, but I do play with older guys, and it is harder for the most to see the long way across the table at the cards.  Am I better off the JI ??  We play with JI Bicycle cards now.  Hummmm... what to do , what to do....

With the price of Copags, I'd buy a setup of both SI and JI and see which you like better.  I'm sure you'd be able to find someone to take the "unliked" setup off your hands.
