I hadn't been on the table too long, but it had shown itself to be loose, and some of the players liked to get all the money in.

So I pick up aces, and went crazy, making it $1 to go, I felt I could get a call so to the risk of wasting my hand, loosing would have been a pain, but if my math serves me, anyone who calls the raise is in -EV territory even if the stack me, so its all good.

Typically I'll push on the flop, but felt I'll have a better chance at getting a stack if I wait for the turn, the flush draw comes and I push.

What the... Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
73os?

I have no problem with the huge raise.  You had to have good reason to feel that this play would still get you action, and it did.  Personally, I'd have bet the flop, but it did work out for you.

And again...73os... Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

I was shocked at showdown, I had to go back and see if he hit the board at all, turned an OESD, but no idea what he was thinking pre-flop, probably, "if I can get lucky, I'll take a stack from aces", which is exactly what I wanted and thankfully he didn't get lucky lol

7-3?  It's almost hard to take this hand seriously.  Well done on your part lucky though.  I like the massive raise with aces at these stakes.  Normal raises will get a ton of calls, but you'll rarely get it all in unless you overbet like this.

Misclick preflop would be my guess and then on the turn, he had OESD.

Now here's one that's really odd involving an admitted misclick as well as a stupid play not involving a misclick unless he did it 3 times.  For those that don't now O8, the hands they are pretty bad especially in a raised pot.

And the checking behind on the Flop was for what?

To get villains stack on the turn  Tongue

I had no reason to think I wasn't ahead on the flop, I didn't care if I got a bad beat, or was behind some strange slow played hand already, so why would I scare villain off when I can potentially stack him on the turn if he improves enough or picks up a draw he's willing to go to the felt with.

I've seen people hit their set when given free cards enough times that I am very wary about giving free cards.

given the size of my pre-flop raise, even if he does hit he still losses long term, so I didn't care that much.

Very true cash game, less true in tourney.  I've actually pushed with AA a few times on the 1st hand of a tourney and gotten callers before.

Great attitude there.  Playing for expectation is far better than worrying about results.  If you make the right decision you make money, and if you don't, you lose money, regardless of the results of an individual hand.  (Even if KK<AK one time, but that's another thread...)

There are some, just very few.  I can't believe some of the stuff that I've seen at $.50/$1 NLH on PS.
BTW, what's your sn on PS?
