Saganing Eagles Landing Casino coming soon to Standish, MI

Anyone heard any news on the new Saganing Eagles Landing Casino (from the Soaring Eagle folks) in Standish?

My ex-wife's family is from Standish.  From what I've heard, it's not actually in Standish, but near it.  I think it's actually called White's Beach.  I'm guessing it's going to be similar to Soaring Eagle.

I hope that they don't go with those stupid computer poker games.  I've been told that the one in New Buffalo doesn't have dealers.  Every player has a computer screen in front of their seat and it's basically like on-line poker where you can see your opponents.

Yep, I hate Hate HATE poker at Four Winds (New Buffalo), and those video games they use there can kiss my midnight rose*.  All I know about Saganing is that the Soaring Eagle folks play it up as having "hundreds of slots and electronic table games".  So I'll go there once to look for chips to harvest, but not again, if they don't play real poker there.

If you believe the hype that the Poker Pro people were trying to sell, the WPT is 110% behind the electronic tables.  We'll see.

Dunno if y'all heard that, but it was the sound of my heart breaking: Saganing will not have a single live chip or token in the entire joint.  It's all virtual, from the TITO slots to the video table games.

Ever notice that when a company does something to save money, it leads to a worse experience for the customers?  Playing live poker without chips is just wrong.  Where's the intimidation factor that comes from having mountains of chips in front of you, or being able to push a huge stack of chips into the middle?  I'd rather stay home and play on pokerstars if all the casinos go to video poker.
