Oh yeah. We do a Beaufort or a Frogmore Stew here in SC and only once will I share the sworn secrets to this recipe. This is just for you there J Klep so don't tell nobody  Wink
I personally like to use the large King Kooker brand of pots and burners they just seem to work better with pots this large
Start with at least one or two cases of premium beer, four packs of your favorite smoked sausage, two ears corn per guest, one large onion, small potatos are optional, 1/2 cup Old Bay Seasoning or Crab Boil bag of choice salt, pepper, about 1 1/2 lbs shrimp per person and some crab legs.
In pot add six beers, add quartered onion, seasonings, hot sauce if you want. Drink beer while waiting  to boil
Add Sausage boil for 10 minutes Drink beer while boiling sausage
Add Corn, Potatos if wanted cut in half, boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Drink beer while boiling corn
If you do Crab Legs Add Boil 2 minutes then  Add Shrimp. Boil 5 minutes Do not Drink Beer While Boiling Shrimp Over Cooked Shrimp are Terrible Shrimp should pink and slightly firm
Carefully Drain Spread Over Newspaper Add Butter, Cocktail Sauce, And More Beer. Comence O Festival

Hey Stan, I gotta stay away from those chicken feet too Shocked Shocked.  I do like some good soul food, but like 4ceps said about some other foods, it isn't too good for the chlorestoral levels. Cry
With that recipe you had I would think you were a Cajun from down here in Louisiana (except for the Old Bay Seasoning, which I do still think is good for certain things.. Wink)

the shrimp are on to boil

You boil your shrimp?!?!  I hope I misunderstood.  You should STEAM them!  With beer!  Grin
j_klep, you don't know what you are missing.  A good boiled shrimp with a recipe similar to what Stan had (but spicier), you can't beat it, unless you throw some good boiled crawfish and blue crabs in also Grin.  Damn I am glad the fishing industry is making a good comeback here in South Louisiana..... Smiley Smiley Smiley  Can't live with out the seafood.

Wait a minute, what were we suppose to be talking about here?  Huh
Oh ya, I didn't get a chance to get to the grocery yesterday, maybe I'll try again today and mybe try and get a haircut.  Cheesy Cheesy lol

Whats up no bs on a Fri.. Looks my old lady is going to get to go play Sat. while I sit at home with her CC. I'm okay with it as long as she doesn't want to use those new chips. Something about 2000 labels and your chips there is this bond. Grin

Why are painting the floor Babu when you could be building a table. You need to explain to Mrs. Babu about priorities, let her know what comes first. Put some sand paper in her hand and tell it is not a good time of the year to be painting but sanding the edges of a poker table is okay. Be a man if you're scared say you're scared. Wink Wink Wink

I have no idea how this happened. Might be because of those Vineyard puchases I made thought I was out the dog house maybe not. I updated my chip count on how many chips do you have didn't realize I had quit so many. Any way I'm stuck with the rug rat and she's off to a good time and here I was telling Babu to stand up. Yeah but the Vineyards will never argue with you or tell you what to do.  They will never talk back to you.  And they don't mind sitting there in front of you while you play poker.  In fact, they encourage it.   Wink

just approved my final design for my chips and should be gettin' 'em in 3 to 5 wks.

might be going to a friend's home game (yup another one of those 30 chips, blinds double up w/ every elimination kinda game).  then it's the wife's bday on sat, then visitin' friends on sunday.

will be busy this wknd, so definitely no bs'ing this wknd.

That's okay. Yeah it was made by a friend in VA to fit my hand and it was his first attempt at handgrips. He made a clay impression and followed it. I don't know if you can see in the pic but he sanded finger groves on the front piece. These aren't just flat they are a step grip. One of a kind.

Yeah I use to be such a nice forum member.  What happened this weekend?  That last post by Babujit came off as little upset to me.  Hope I didn't push one of his buttons too.  He is one of the major reasons this forum is so great.
Anyways, nice pistol.  Took me awhile to see it even with your help, but I do now.  I'll be sure not to blow your doors off, a man with a gun, an empty shot glass, and a gambling habit is not something I'm inclined to upset. Wink

Yeah I'm glad things are back to normal except where's our Babu. And Sup I don't have a gambling or a drinking habit. Actually I'm a lousy poker player but I love to play and always have and I am allergic to alcohol. I am really only good at two things I can hit a mouse at 500 yrds and if there's a fish in a lake I can catch it. Only problem I hate fish. Grin
