The was my last hand of a game I've just been bused in, finishing 4th.
I was so short stacked, I couldn't fold here could I, and I think the all-in pre-flop was my only move, correct ?
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1764612This is my final hand from the game before, which also sent me out in 4th.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1764363I hate my minimum re-raise and served nothing, only a total bluff with a very weak hand would fold pre-flop to a minimum re-raise. I played it scared and wanted to take a look at the flop before I pushed, though I would probably have been committed to push either if the flop contained over cards to my jacks, I think I was overly worried about being called by an Ax hand and my opponent getting lucky to bust me.
I think I should have either jammed pre-flop or simply called his raise if I was so fixed on checking out the flop first.
EDIT : I've just remembered a point I forgot to add. This guys usual raise was 3xBB, this time he raises only 2xBB, I picked up on this immediately, but having only 11xBB after posting, I thought I had to play here anyway, after noticing this should I have waited for another spot, considering my jacks could be easily dominated or only just ahead anyway ?
I have ran into over pairs frequently in similar situations, and in this case put part of the blame on not making enough moves early on, limiting my options here.
Thanks again xxx
